Does the compass work without internet?
Yes. The compass uses your phone's built-in sensors and works fully offline. An internet or GPS signal is only needed for the map view and precise coordinates.
My compass points the wrong way — how do I fix it?
Move your phone in a figure-8 pattern a few times to recalibrate, and keep it away from metal objects, magnets and phone cases with magnetic clasps.
Which phones are supported?
Any Android device with a magnetic (compass) sensor. Most modern phones include one — if yours doesn't, the heading can't be displayed.
Is it free?
Yes, the core compass and direction tools are free. An optional Premium upgrade removes ads.
Privacy
